Governance
Governance generally means ‘the establishment of policies and continuous monitoring of their implementation by the members of the governing body of the institution’. In this section, we would like to tell you in broad terms how our organization is structured.
Each of our teams have a set of guidelines that help them navigate their particular function. We prefer the word ‘guidelines’ as, although we do need structure, there are so many variables in the rescue world that we have to maintain a flexible, common sense, and fluid approach when dealing with the wide variety of situations we encounter.
