Canada’s Dog Ban: Click here to find out how you can help.

To raise awareness for the importance of dog rescue efforts, Golden Rescue is attempting to set a Guinness World Record for the most dogs wearing bandanas.

The event takes place on Sept. 18 at 7:30 a.m. at Viamede Resort, on Stoney Lake north of Peterborough, and bandanas will be provided.

The Ontario-based dog rescue organization needs 1,000 dogs to set the record and is asking dog owners and dog-friendly organizations to take part. To register for the event, email worldrecord@goldenrescue.ca or visit www.facebook.com/events/406370296214414.
