Louise Penny is a Canadian, multiple award-winning #1 New York Times bestselling novelist. Her mystery novels are set in Quebec and feature the work of francophone Chief Inspector Armand Gamache of the Sûreté du Québec. Louise’s first career was as a radio broadcaster for the CBC. After she turned to writing, she won numerous awards for her work, including Agatha Awards for best mystery novel and Anthony Awards for best novels of the year. Her 18 Gamache mysteries, one novella, and State of Terror have been published in over 30 languages.
