#2846 Wyatt

Gender: male
Wyatt arrived in Canada from Mexico six years ago. As soon as he got out of his crate, he hugged our daughter and then proceeded to hug some of the airport staff as well. He must have been exhausted after his long flight because he slept all the way home. When he first arrived home, he was fearful about coming inside and particularly nervous of ceiling fans for some reason. He also had food aggression and was afraid of other dogs. Who knows what he had endured in Mexico to give him these fears but with love, patience, and some training, our boy came around to be one of the most affectionate dogs we’ve ever known. In fact, we call him ‘Velcro’. He’s now fine with other dogs, absolutely loves people, and is in love with our daughter’s cat, who gives him a bath every day. He is now happy all the time and loves his life, his family, and especially his walks. He is now 11 and adopting him was the best decision for all of us and him. We can’t imagine life without him! Thank you, Golden Rescue, for finding him for us!
