#2915 Shiloh

ID #: 2915 Age: 11 yrs Gender: female Status: pending

Hi everyone…my name is Shiloh and I am an 11’ish female (although a lady usually doesn’t divulge her age but, in this case, I can make an exception…teehee).  Before I met the good folks at Golden Rescue, I was 60 pounds overweight ~ not a pretty sight.  In fact, the doc said my mobility was so bad that I might need ligament surgery on both legs ~ yikes.  My amazing foster parents put me on a strict diet and introduced me to regular exercise.  It was strange at first but I started to get used to it but more importantly I started to feel better.  Holy moly, I lost 50 pounds and started to feel happy again.  I’d almost forgotten what that felt like.  Now, I can trip the ‘light fandango’ every day.  I’m told I could still afford to lose another 10 pounds, which is okay by me as I trust the GR folks implicitly so I’ll do whatever they say.  So, what else can I tell you about myself?  I love all humans and canines.  I know all my commands.  I now love my walkies and playing games like tug-o-war.  I am not a big barker.  I don’t mind loud noises.  I can be left alone if you have to out without me.  I am gentle with my treats and you can touch me anywhere.  So, that means I’m pretty much perfect (my foster parents said that…not me…teehee).  I am now a happy, grateful, goofy Golden looking for a family to join.  If you have such a place, I will show my love and gratitude every single day.  Thank you Golden Rescue ~ you’re the best!
