Joe came from the streets of Istanbul. His rescuer there looked after him and fixed his wonky leg before sending him to Canada. He is such a sweet boy and must have come from a family scenario in Turkey as he seemed very much at home with us right away and was well-trained. He learned English commands very quickly except for his recall, which is nonexistent so he needs to be kept on the leash or in a secure area. Other than that, he is a big lovable goofball who makes us laugh every day. He and his adopted sister Daisy tolerated each other at first but now they are best buds and they do zoomies together in the backyard. Joe’s favourite things in life are walkies, car rides, chasing his balls, barking at squirrels, cuddling with us, and cheese. We have adopted four Goldens with Joe being our first international adoption…and we love this funny boy to bits.
