Hi everybody in GoldenRescueLand! My name is Cody and I’m a 10-year-old boy and this is my brother Sully and he’s eight years old. We grew up together so we are what you humans call a ‘bonded pair’. Now unlike my lazier brother, I’m fit and trim. Sully? Well, he’s fit enough but he could sure lose a pound or two. He disagrees, however. He says he’s not overweight…just heavy set. Yeah right, Sully! Now, Sully is a purebred Golden while I’m a Golden Doodle. Sully makes fun of that sometimes but I say “Yeah, I might be a Doodle but at least I’m not a porky pig”. Don’t get me wrong, we love each other and this is just teasing. Other than our breed differences, we are remarkably similar. Neither one of us are big barkers. We both know our commands. We’re both very gentle with our treats. We’re not afraid of loud noises. We can be left alone if you have to go out. We’re both pretty good on the leash although Sully pulls a bit because he always wants to be in front of me. We both love people, kids, and other dogs. We’re not sure about cats, although we currently live with a bunny rabbit, which we ignore so we might be able to adjust to cats. We both love running and playing; however, we also love cuddling, so neither one of us need a crazy amount of exercise. We’re happy with whatever exercise you can give us. Basically, we’re just happy and grateful to be around you and will fit into your routine. Oh yes, I’m on a low dose of prednisone for something because of some auto-immune stuff but it doesn’t seem to affect me day-to-day as I feel totally fine. Well, that’s about it for Sully and me. I know it’s asking a lot to find a space for both of us but our needs are small ~ a little room, a little love, and a little food. In fact, Sully could use very little food (teehee).
