Hi everyone in GR-Land…my name is Coco and I’m a three-year-old boy (I know, I know…the name ‘Coco’ for a boy??? (And I’m the second male ‘Coco’ up for adoption right now…that’s crazy!!!). I’m a big boy ~ tall with that gangly puppy gait and temperament. My fantastic foster mom calls me a ‘real sweetie-pie’ ~ right back at you mom. I grew up on the street, so I have a few scars here and there but I am healthy and strong according to the doc. I just love people and I love being made a fuss over. What I love the most is snuggling really close to you. I am very grateful to all the kind people at GR for rescuing me and I try to show my gratitude every day. I get excited when I meet new people or new dogs and will pull on my leash and jump up ~ I am learning that that’s a no-no, so if you’re patient with me, that will improve over time. I love my car rides. Loud noises don’t bother me and I can be left alone if you have to go out without me. I am pretty well trained overall but the leash thing, as I mentioned, could use more work, particularly if I see new people or dogs on my walks. Look, I was a street dog so I still have few things to learn about your human ways but I have a strong desire to please so with some patience, I think I could learn everything you want to teach me.
