#3091 Sunny – revised

ID #: 3091 Age: 8 months Gender: female Status: available

Hi everyone my name is Sunny and I’m an eight-month-old pup. Sunny is a great
name for me as I truly do have a ‘sunny’ personality. In my previous life, I had
some training so my amazing foster mom had to teach me just a few other things.
What a wonderful teacher she is. Before I arrived, I already knew ‘sit’, ‘paw’, and
‘lie down’ and I’m working on some other commands like ‘come’ and ‘leave it’. I
used to guard my food and prize possessions but now I’m almost ‘guard’ free so it
proves I’m smart and a quick learner. I happily eat my food beside my foster
brother now, whereas before I always wanted to eat alone. My foster mom and
the vet say I’m really smart and in just a few short months I’ve learned guarding is
a no-no. Hey I’m a puppy after all so tell me what you want me to do and I’ll
figure it out. Oh yeah, and the leash thing has really improved as well ~ I have
gotten much better. And…my counter surfing days are almost over. Mind you, if
there is a treat in plain sight and it’s easy to reach, well, I figure you left that for
me. I have been described as sweet, sensitive, smart, energetic, and friendly. I’m
no expert on your human language but I’m pretty sure those are all good things. I
am crate trained and actually like my crate. I love people and children but I can
be wary of men occasionally but most of the time these days men are totally fine
with me. I love other dogs as well so I’d be fine in a home with a gentle, laid-back
dog but I’d still be careful about food and toy possession for a while. I am a
healthy girl full of puppy energy and joie de vie. I love my walks, car rides, and
paddling in the water (can’t swim yet) and I love to play. I’m not a fan of loud
noises although that’s improving too and you can touch me anywhere even when
I’m eating these days. You can leave me alone if you have to do your chores and I
probably bark too much at times but we’re working on that. My foster parents
are very proud of my puppy progress and want me to find a forever family that
will continue my training with patience and love. Might that be you?
