Kayla #3314

Gender: female

Status: Adopted

Kayla came from a horrid backyard breeder and was mangy and close to shutting down when we first met her. This poor creature curled up in the back corner of our yard for the first few days and looked like she just wanted to die ~ it was so sad! Getting her into the house was a challenge and she initially found a spot behind the door where she would not move from. We patiently nursed Kayla back to health and confidence over the next several months. Kayla was afraid of Lloyd and we suspect she was ill-treated by a man in her previous life. It took about a year for Kayla’s tail to come out from under her body. Today her tail sits high…wagging as she walks…and she is always happy to greet everyone she meets. Kayla is now a happy loving Golden who we cherish. What an amazing transformation and a true testament to love, patience, and kindness. We are so happy that Golden Rescue gave her a second chance and trusted us with her recovery.
