Buenos dias everyone!  My name is Ghosty and I’m a 9-year-old boy.  When the wonderful people at Golden Rescue took me in, I was a bit nervous and overweight and I had a boober on my ear.  It didn’t take me long to understand that everyone only wanted the best for me, particularly my amazing foster family, who made me feel welcome right away, put me on a diet, and sent me to the doc to fix my boober.  Wow…how lucky am I!!!  It was all a bit confusing at first, I must admit, because people were talking to me and asking me to do stuff that I didn’t understand.  You see, I learned all my commands in Spanish and all my new friends were talking to me in English.  But my foster mom says I am really smart as I picked up your new lingo pretty quickly and now, I understand English quite well.  I have lost a few pounds, my ear is healing well, and I have gotten over my nervousness.  In fact, my foster family says I’ve done so well that I’m actually ready to go to a forever family.  I have to say I’m a little proud of myself but I’m also getting ready to be nervous again (ha-ha).  In case you are looking for a bilingual, happy, goofy Golden, here are a few things about me you’d probably like to know.  I love people and other dogs.  I’m not a big barker and gentle with my treats.  You can touch me anywhere and you can leave me alone if you have to go out without me.  I am learning that leash thingy but that is definitely a work-in-progress.  The doc says I’m healthy.  I can be a bit stubborn at times but, overall, my foster mom says I’m a happy, beautiful, goofy, and funny boy.  I’m no expert on English yet but I’m pretty sure those are all good words.  Es eso correcto?

Ghosty is currently being fostered in the Peterborough, ON area. If you would like more information about Ghosty please call our hot-line toll free at 1-866-712-8444 or email and one of our volunteers will be happy to return your call.
