Hi everyone, my name is Summer and I’m a 4-year-old girl. I settled into my new life with my amazing foster family very quickly because I could tell they only wanted the best for me. Of course, I love everybody I’ve met at GR but in reality, I love all humans. You guys are the cat’s pajamas. And speaking of cats, I like those critters as well. Now, as it relates to all my canine cousins, I like them as well except when I’m on the leash. I bark at other dogs when I have that leash thing on. It’s funny because other than that, I’m not a big barker at all. I’m a quiet happy girl. Once you take me off the leash, I’m fine with other dogs…go figure! I love my walks but I also love just hanging out and chilling so I can adapt easily to your energy level. I love to please and I’m gentle with my treats. You can touch me anywhere and loud noises don’t bother me. You can leave me alone if you have to go out without me. I do need to lose a few pounds but other than that the doc says I’m a healthy girl. Here’s how my foster mom describes me: “Summer is a loving, friendly, well-behaved, happy girl who just wants to please you.” Aren’t those lovely words? As the Beatles so aptly put it: “Please, please me, oh yeah, like I please you.”
