Hi everyone…my name is Charcoal and I’m a 5-year-old male. I cannot imagine why you humans call me Charcoal. Do you think it’s because of my colour? Now, I am obviously not a Golden and we think I might be a Flat-coat with a little Cocker mixed in. My lovely foster family say they don’t care or know what breed I am ~ they simply say I’m a very handsome little boy who is a wonderful companion. Aw, shucks! I do love all people and I particularly love my walkies and car rides. I’m really good on the leash thingy. I went to the doc the other day who said I’m a healthy boy. How good is that? I do have a high prey drive and my recall isn’t great so keeping me leashed or a fenced yard is crucial but other than that I’ve been described as pretty perfect. I’m not afraid of loud noises. I’m very gentle with my treats. You can touch me anywhere…and the more the better. I’m not a big barker unless I hear other dogs bark and you can leave me alone if you must go out without me. I’m a very chill dude because not much bothers me and I can easily hang out for hours watching the world go by. I’m low maintenance, I don’t take up much space, and I try very hard not to be a bother. I do love the outdoors but hanging out on a condo balcony is also fine with me. If you choose me, I will simply adjust to you. That’s just who I am! Hope to meet you soon.
