My name is Leo and I am a 2 yr old boy with the energy and excitability of a puppy! I love to do things like mouthing, stealing shoes, mitts, etc. and jumping on new people who enter our house. My awesome foster Mom and Dad tell me I am very handsome, loveable and highly trainable though so that’s good. I am not much of a barker and I tend to be calm indoors ~ I like to lay on my bed or at your feet. I sound like a pretty good Golden, right? When I get outside I tend to get more excited meeting people and other dogs so I can be a bit much to handle when walking on the leash, but I am playful, not aggressive. I did have a bit of a health scare too. I was diagnosed with TVE (Canine Transmissible Venereal Tumours) and have completed my chemo treatments and I am expected to have a full recovery. My wonderful foster family are hoping that my forever family will have the time to continue with my training and give me lots of exercise and walks. Did I tell you that I love the car, playing with my stuffies (especially the squeaky ones), going on walks and of course napping!
