Hi everyone…my name is Ben and I’m an 18-month-old puppy. Yes, I still have a lot of pup in me, which means I’m still in training. Don’t worry though…my wonderful foster mom says I’m really smart and my foster dad says I am just generally a really good boy. I am learning the leash thingy a bit and am getting the hang of recall but I can be easily distracted. I prefer to think of it as curiosity. After all, there is a big new world out there for me to explore. So, all I need is a bit more training and some patience and love and everyone at GR believes I’ll be the best Golden ever. I already love people and other dogs although I’m a bit cautious at first until I get to know you. The doc says I’m healthy. Loud noises don’t bother me. I am gentle with my treats and I actually like my crate where I currently go to sleep and am fine in it if you have to go out without me; however, I probably won’t need the crate for much longer as I finish my schooling. GR thinks I’d be best in a home that is quite active as I am quite energetic, although I like snuggling too. It might also be best to be in a home with no children…at least for now. Well, that’s my story. A little short I know but I’m still a bit young to have a lot of experiences to brag about (hee hee!).
