Happy sunshine!!! My name is Cai and I’m a 2-year-old boy. I’m still very much a puppy at heart who loves life and all humans. My fantastic foster family have nicknamed me King Henry for some reason but hey, you can call me anything, just don’t call me late for dinner (bada-bing bada-boom)! I’m not great with other dogs (yet) so GR is suggesting I be the only dog in the household. Sorry about that but I can be grumpy with other dogs from time to time. I guess I’m just one of those Goldens who prefers humans ~ men, women, boys, girls ~ I love you all. I am learning all your commands and even the leash thing is getting better. I am not a big barker and I can be touched anywhere (in fact, please scratch and pet me often). Loud noises don’t bother me and you can leave me alone if you have to go out without me. I love playing and being outdoors but I also love cuddling on the couch ~ so as you can see, I’m a very flexible boy. I have lots of energy if that’s what you want; however, if you’d rather just hang out and watch the Leaf’s game, I’d love that as well. The doc says I’m healthy and I am on the smaller side so I don’t take up much room. Here’s what my foster mom says about me: “Cai is a gentle soul who is truly grateful just to be loved. If he’s the only pet in the home, he is the quintessential sweet Golden ~ loving, funny, sweet, snuggly, and happy.” Aw shucks!!! Well, that’s my story ~ short and sweet! Hey ‘short and sweet’…that could actually describe me (teehee).
