#4171 Kili
Gender: female
Kili came to us two years ago from Cairo. She came down the ramp at Pearson airport and stopped to say hello to every single person lined up along the way, with her little rat-tail wagging. We only mention her tail as it was a bit of a sorry sight and very un-Goldenish when she arrived. Within a few months, with lots of love and good food, the feathering on her tail exploded into sheer Golden magnificence. It was delightful to see. Kili wasn’t house-trained, but it didn’t take long for this smart girl to understand how to ask to go out. From day one she was happy, loving, and absolutely obsessed with her toys (and the bigger the better). She has a toy box full which she systematically empties every day until her stuffies are strewn everywhere. We’re still working on getting her to put them back at the end of the day but no luck yet. She also loves the boat and the water and would chase the frisbee across our lake all day if we let her. She loves everybody and especially loves when company comes ~ more hands to pet her and love her. She is our Queen of the Nile and we love her to bits.
