Hi everyone…my name is Hollie and I’m a one-year-old girl. My family ran into some health problems and had to give me up to the good people at GR. It has been a bit of an adjustment for me but my amazing foster dad has made it so much easier. I am a bit skittish and timid but that’s improving every day as I settle into my new life. I know my foster parents are temporary and they have told me that soon I will find my new forever family and I understand. If you are a little bit patient with me, I promise I will settle in well as I am sweet tempered and smart. I am a good girl. I am gentle with my treats. You can certainly touch me anywhere. Loud noises don’t bother me and I’m not a big barker. The doc says I’m healthy. I am actually pretty good on the leash and know how to heel. However, on those extend leash thingies, my training goes out the window and I pull. I love people and other dogs and I’m even fine with indoor cats. Outdoor cats ~ not so much as I’m a critter chaser. I am young so I have a lot of energy and love to play, run, and jump into the car and pretty much any activity that will get me tired. I love being tired because as they say ‘a tired dog is a good dog’. BTW, I think I’m a good girl either way (teehee). My fosters believe I would benefit from having another playful dog in the family or, at the very least, an active family who would challenge me and possibly even do agility with me. I would love to join your family and I promise to show you the gratitude and love you deserve for giving me a second chance.

Hollie is currently being fostered west of St. Thomas, ON area.  If you would like more information about Hollie please call our hot-line toll-free at 1-866-712-8444 or email and one of our volunteers will be happy to return your call.
