ID #: 4292 Age: 2 yrs Gender: male Status: Adopted

Hi everyone…my name is Wilson and I’m between 1 and 2 years old. I came from a faraway place called Cairo and when I magically arrived in your wonderful country, I was very skinny and had a number of health issues. The amazing people at Golden Rescue took me to the doc who fixed all those things and I am now living happily and healthily with my fantastic foster family. I still need to put on more weight but that shouldn’t be too hard as I get fed twice a day like clockwork. Wow ~ I’m sure not used to that! The truth is I had no training in my previous life so I am really like a puppy who needs to work on all your human ways. I now know my name and I know the word ‘sit’. I am actually pretty good on the leash until I see another dog and then you better hang on. My tragic flaw is I have a thing you call ‘leash aggression’, so if I see another dog on my walks, I can go a bit cuckoo. I’m actually okay most of the time with other dogs in the house but I have gone on the attack a few times, but this whole socialization thing is a work-in-progress so at least for now I should be the only pet in the house and no children either. I have been described as a ‘beautiful, smart, loving puppy’ with the emphasis on ‘puppy’. I am a full-grown pup, who needs to learn pretty much everything but my foster mom believes that given time and a bit of patience that I will grow into a loving, good, Canadian goofball. Would you have the time and patience to help me get there?
