Hi everybody…my name is Honey and I’m 2 years old. I am currently with my amazing foster dad/guru teacher. This wonderful man is teaching me all your human ways and I’m getting the hang of things pretty well. For example, I’m really good on a walk. My leash skills are good; however, I will pull, lunge, and bark at dogs and squirrels. I love people but am a tad timid at first. Once I know they are kind and safe, I am all over them with love. In fact, I can be very pushy about getting love and attention so you need to set boundaries for me. My biggest challenge is with other dogs. I just haven’t had much socialization so I can be aggressive with my canine cousins. I am working on this but my foster dad is recommending that I’m the only dog in the house and that my new forever family continues to try and socialize me cautiously. Sorry about that but with no other dogs around I’m a pussy cat…but speaking of pussy cats, that’s a definite no-go as I have a high prey drive. That’s why a secure fenced yard is critical. You can touch me anywhere. You can leave me alone if you have to go out without me and loud noises don’t bother me. The doc has given me 100% on my test and says I’m lovely and healthy. I do love my walks and car rides. I have good energy but
hanging out on the couch is also fine with me. My dad has described me as a very friendly, sweet, and loving little girl ~ ah shucks! I know I have limitations but I hope someone can carve out a little corner of their world for me.
