I’m Pepper and you might be expecting a black dog with that name; however, other than my nose, nothing is black. So, maybe I’ve been named after white pepper. In any case, I’m a 1.5-year-old boy and I’m of the miniature variety as I’m only 25 lbs. I may be small but I have a BIG personality. Overall, I’m a sweet, happy boy whose favourite things are food, snuggles, and sleeping. I am not a high-energy boy. My un-favourite thing is being left alone and maybe because I had no family in Istanbul, when you leave, I think it’s for good. So, it would be best if there’s someone home most of the time and hopefully my separation anxiety will diminish (a big word for a little boy) over time. I’m pretty good on the leash unless I see a critter, like a bunny, but because of my size, I’m not hard to handle. I’m okay with other dogs but I sometimes read small dogs as a critter that needs chasing. So, I’m probably best to go to a family without other dogs plus I do try to hog all the attention. I do bark a bit but hey, that’s my job to tell you about what’s going on in the world. I am very gentle but I don’t care for the vacuum nor toys. Chewy, yummy things though…now we’re talking!!! If you’re favourite things are also snuggling and sleeping, let’s talk!
