Hi everyone…my name is Max and I’m a 7-month-old pup. Everybody in GoldenRescueLand loves me, especially my amazing foster mom, but they all think I still have stuff to learn. They’re right and since I love all people, worry not, as I get a bit older I’m sure I’ll figure out all your human ways. I’ve already gotten better on the leash, especially when I use a harness. I do love to play, particularly with other dogs, but sometimes I don’t read their signals when they think I’m a bit over-the-top. I did have a scuffle over a bone a while ago but that was only once. I generally love other dogs…I just need more time to socialize and to understand doggie language a bit better. Here’s what my foster mom says about me: “Max is the sweetest dog ever who loves everyone and everything. He’s an adorable boy who just wants to play and please but he’s a pup so he needs more training, patience, and love…but he’s totally worth it.” Thanks for saying all those wonderful things about me BUT she didn’t say anything about how cute I am so I guess I’m going to have to let my picture do the talking. Let’s see what else. Oh yes, loud noises don’t bother me. You can touch me anywhere. I am gentle with my treats but do need reminding from time to time. The doc says I’m a big healthy boy. I recently had an operation (you call it neutering) and that might calm me down a bit; however, I’m still going to have that typical puppy energy. Well, that’s my story. Short I know…but I haven’t been on this earth for very long so my CV is still a work-in-progress. Just like me (heehee)!!!
