Hi everyone my name is Daisy and I’m a 2-year-old puppy. Yes, my wonderful foster mom says I act like a 6-month-old and she thinks I’m as cute as pie (teehee). When I first met the good people at GR, I was in pretty rough shape. I
was skinny and skittish, had an open wound on my side, and I couldn’t weight-bear on one of my back legs. I was a bit of a sorry sight. But with all the love, care, and attention I’ve been given at my foster family’s, I really started to come around. I have put on weight, my back leg is better, and my wound is healing nicely. Here’s a new pic of me ~ I think I look pretty good, eh? I had a lot to learn when I entered the program. At first, I didn’t even know how to ask to go out. But my foster mom says I’m really smart and have learned your human ways quickly. I’m even not too bad on the leash. I love people, other dogs, and even cats are fine with me although I do like to chase them but I really only want to play with them. Speaking of play…I am ‘play’ obsessed. I love to play and expend energy whenever I can so lots of exercise and a fenced yard are crucial. Loud noises don’t bother me and I know the word ‘gentle’. I don’t like being left alone and can be a little destructive…and to make matters worse on that count, I don’t like being crated either. So, I need a home where there’s someone home most of the time. Now, that might change in time as I get to understand and trust my new surroundings. Here’s what my wonderful fosters say about me: “Daisy is amazing and needs a family that won’t give up on her. She just needs to heal and trust and she will bring so much joy to a family and home.” I hope to meet you soon and to bring laughter to your home.
