  • Lots of patience
  • Fenced yard so she can go on an adventure
  • Best for her to be the only dog

I am Sadie and the first six years of my life were pretty awful. I am now with the good people at Golden Rescue and my wonderful foster family and life is so much better. I still get nervous sometimes so I hang out on my bed so I can observe the world from a distance ~ but I do venture out a bit at a time. I still need to learn the leash thingy but first I need a backyard to explore before I am ready for the big world. It would be better if I was the only dog in the home as I do have a bit of a guarding issue. I need a home with carpet or at least something covering the slippery floors so I don’t go slip sliding away! My foster mom says I am a sweet quiet girl who doesn’t ask for anything. How perfect is that? I had such a sheltered start in life that so much of the real world still frightens me so I hope you are the one that can show me the world a little bit at a time!

Sadie is currently being fostered in the Ottawa, ON area.  If you would like more information about Sadie please call our hot-line toll-free at 1-866-712-8444 or email adoption@goldenrescue.ca and one of our volunteers will be happy to return your call.
