Hi all you wonderful Golden lovers. My name is Skyler and I’m a 3.5-month-old female puppy. My life, since Golden Rescue saved me, has been fantastic. I’m in puppy heaven living with my amazing foster family and they are teaching me all the ropes. My name has English/Dutch/Norse roots and means ‘scholar’. My foster mom says that makes sense because she thinks I’m really smart. Ah shucks! I am pretty much house-trained but can make the odd mistake if I get too excited. I still nip at times and love to chew but that is what every puppy does, right? I love people, children, and other dogs; however, for now I probably shouldn’t be around young children because I can get pretty enthusiastic and could knock them down accidentally. I am gentle with my treats and getting the hang of the leash thing. You can touch me anywhere and leave me alone if you have to go out without me and loud noises don’t bother me. I’m not a big barker and the doc says I’m really healthy. Well, that’s about it for me. There’s not much more I can tell you about myself because I’m still so young, so my life experiences are pretty small. If you’d like to meet me, I’ll be right here having the time of my life.
