Hi everyone…my name is Halo and I’m a 10-month-old girl. Yes, I’m a puppy literally full of the joys of spring. I’m even full of more joy since the lovely people at GR brought me into their program and put me with my amazing foster family. I’m not sure what I did to get so lucky but I sure am grateful. I am learning all your human ways. For example, I am fully house-trained and learning that leash thingy. I do still pull but I am getting better each day. I love my treats so if you have any of those, I become a particularly fast learner (teehee). I was a bit nervous when I first got here but now I know everyone loves me so I’m much more relaxed. I am learning that it’s okay if you have to go out without me ~ baby steps so far but I’m coping. I am gentle with my treats. You can certainly touch me anywhere. I am not a big barker, loud noises don’t bother me, and my recall is getting better every day. The doc says I’m healthy. In fact my foster mom says: ”Halo’s eyes sparkle and her coat glows.” Wow ~ what a lovely description! I love all people and dogs and as much as I have good puppy energy, I also love hanging out on the couch after my exercise. I’m a really happy girl and I have improved enough that I’m ready to find my forever family. As much as I love my foster
family, I can’t wait! I read the report that was written about me (what…you think I can’t read???) and here’s what they’ve said about me. “Halo is the perfect Golden for an active family and she loves company and being the center of attention. She will return love given to her tenfold.” I can count to ten easily so ten is a pretty low number so let’s make that a hundred-fold, okay?
