Hi everyone my name is Luna and I’m a 9-year-old girl. I have a lot of energy for my age and everyone thinks I act more like a 3-4-year-old. If you are an active family, I just might be your girl. I love life and all people and every day is a new adventure…and I can’t wait to get started. As much as all people (men, women, children, grandparents, neighbours, mail carrier, strangers, Amazon deliverer, passers-by) delight me…dogs not so much! Don’t know why but I’m just not a fan of other dogs so on my walks my wonderful foster dad is careful to avoid other canines. He just turns around and walks the other way when he sees one coming. Because of that, I can be a bit of a handful on the leash so you need to be in command. On the other hand, if I don’t see another dog, I settle in fine on my walks. My amazing fosters think this is not likely to change at my age so maybe you can’t teach an old(er) dog new tricks after all. I know my commands quite well. I am gentle with my treats. You can touch me anywhere. Loud noises don’t bother me and the doc says I’m a healthy girl. As much as I have lots of energy, I also love cuddling, so if you let me up on the couch with you, I’ll be in heaven. My foster mom describes me as “a very smart, obedient girl who is a joy to have in our family.” If you are looking for an energetic love-bug and have a spare belly-rub-hand, I sure would love to meet you.
