Hi everyone…my name is Max and I’m a 1.5-year-old pup. Yes, I’m still a pup in my mind full of the joys of spring. Even though I’m still a pup, I am a big boy ~ strong like bull but a big mush-ball who loves everybody and every dog I meet. I just assume everybody loves me back. After all, what’s not to love! I am working on all my commands and doing well; however, the leash thing and my recall are both a work-in-progress, I must admit. It would be best if I lived somewhere with a secure yard so I can run and play and work off all the energy I have. Because I’m a big, strong boy, you have to be prepared when you’re taking me for a walk because I could easily take you for the walk instead. I am gentle with my treats. You can certainly touch me anywhere. Loud noises don’t bother me and you can leave me alone if you have to go out without me. The doc says I’m a big healthy boy. I don’t like getting into the car but once I’m in, I’m fine. I love my walks and getting lots of exercise because as you all say “a good dog is a tired dog.” Here’s how my amazing foster family describes me: “Max is a very handsome gentle giant. He is a happy goofy boy who often seems to have a big smile. He is very sweet and affectionate. He is basically an 85-pound lap dog who loves to snuggle up close to people. He has endeared himself to the neighbourhood with his personality and good looks.” What a wonderful thing to say. Thanks…you’re the best!
