Hi everybody…my name is Buddy and I’m 4 years old. Before I met the good people at Golden Rescue, I was basically a farm dog so I had no experience with your collar and leash thingies and I had never been in a car. I’m getting the hang of the leash. I used to throw up in the car but I don’t anymore and I’m even hanging my head out the window. That’s progress, eh? Apart from that, I have settled into my new life with my wonderful foster family quite well. I love people and I’m fine with some dogs but not-so-much with others. This will also likely change as I get more socialized. In the meantime, it feels as though it might be better if I’m the only dog in the house…at least for now, even though right now I do live with another dog. As for cats, that’s probably a no-go as I’m not fond of little dogs. Little dogs…cats…they’re all the same to me. And because I’m a country boy at heart, it would be best for me to live in a more rural area. The doc says I’m a good-looking boy and fit as a fiddle. You can touch me anywhere. I am very gentle with my treats although I’m not particularly food motivated. Loud noises don’t bother me but when the vacuum is on, I simply go to another room. You can leave me alone if you have to go out without me and I hardly ever bark. I am happy if you want to go for a big walk or run but I’m also happy chilling on the couch. That’s because I’m a big people pleaser and I just want to fit in. I want to be loved and I want to love you. Now I’m ready to find my forever family…what did I ever do to deserve such joy!
