Hi everybody…my name is Jasper and I’m 5 years old. My biggest issue is that I’m a big boy. The doc says I would benefit from continuing my weight loss journey. With my wonderful foster family, I’ve already lost 4 lbs!! Isn’t that great?! I’m excited to continue working on a new regime and if I’m lucky enough to be chosen to join your family, you would have to continue with my diet/exercise program until I hit my fighting weight. Only kidding about the ‘fighting’ part as I don’t have an aggressive bone in my body. I am truly a lover not a fighter. I am a big couch potato at the moment; however, slowly but surely that is changing. I am a superstar on the leash but that’s because I’m a slow mover. The doc has me on medication for two things ~ seizures and hypothyroidism, which seem to be really working. Thanks doc! Other than that, my lovely foster mom says I’m the perfect Golden ~ loveable, playful, grateful, gentle, and happy to be alive. I am gentle with my treats. I love to be touched anywhere. I am not a big barker. You can leave me alone if you have to go out without me. Loud noises don’t bother me. I have been described as a really sweet, loving, well-behaved boy who is as cool as a cucumber. I love all people and other dogs and as I continue my weight loss journey, I will be as active as you want me to be because, if you pick me, it will be my life’s mission to please you, love you, and thank you for giving me a second chance.
