  • A typical puppy with lots of energy ~ fenced yard ideal
  • Loves people & other dogs (not cat tested)
  • Still needs training ~ has selective hearing
  • A sweetheart & a joy

Hi everyone my name is Sierra and I’m a 4-month-old Husky mix (I might have a wee bit of Golden in me). Now don’t ask me how I got into the Golden Rescue program because I don’t know. I came in as a pup so maybe I looked like a Golden. All I know is that you rescue folks are wonderful…especially my amazing foster family. My foster mom told me a good joke today ~ What do you call a husky puppy who can’t stop eating? A little husky (tee-hee). When I first arrived, I was a dirty, frightened mess. Today, I’m a clean, happy, grateful little girl. I am learning all your human ways and am doing pretty well according to my foster mom. I still need more work on house training but that’s coming along nicely. I know my name and actually enjoy my training sessions and I’m pretty good on the leash. Of course, I’m still a pup and my hearing is selective, so if you choose me, you will have to continue my training. I hope that’s okay. I am not a big barker but I have that Husky howl occasionally. You can touch me almost anywhere; however, I’m not fond of my paws being touched. I am pretty gentle with my treats but remember I still have those sharp baby teeth so I might nip by mistake on occasion. I love people and other dogs but if a dog comes at me aggressively, I might not back down. I am not afraid of loud noises. The doc, who is lovely by the way, says I’m a healthy girl. I have loads of puppy energy but can entertain myself if you need a break from my enthusiasm. I’ll just grab one of my toys and play, play, play. I’m simply a sweetheart who loves cuddles and adventures in equal measures. Well, that’s about it for me. Remember, I am just a pup so I don’t have a lot of life experience to share with you. What I can say is that my life is fantastic now and I’d love to share it with you. My fosters say ‘I’m a laugh a minute’…and why shouldn’t I be? Life is good!
