Hi everyone…my name is Beau and I’m a 2-year-old boy. I have been living with my foster guru dad who I love. He has been teaching me all your human ways and is very proud of my progress. He describes me as a small, sweet, quiet, loveable boy. In fact, if it was not for my lack of socialization with other dogs, he thinks I am perfect. Ah shucks! Yes, I have fear aggression with other dogs and according to my teacher, it was likely because I was never socialized as a pup. Now, with patience, love, and consistency, this may change but my new family would need to be prepared to take the time to socialize me from scratch. If this can’t be done then keeping me away from other dogs is the best alternative. With a gentle leader I’m pretty good on the leash but if I see another dog or squirrel, then all bets are off. I am gentle with my treats. I don’t like loud noises but I don’t freak either. You can touch me anywhere and leave me alone if you have to go out without me. I do love people and I love being made a fuss over. I love exercise but I’m also happy hanging out and cuddling with you if that’s what you want. Well, that’s my story ~ short and sweet. Actually, that’s funny. ‘Short and sweet’ is how my foster dad describes me (heehee)!

Beau is currently being fostered north of the Toronto, ON area.  If you would like more information about Beau please call our hot-line toll-free at 1-866-712-8444 or email and one of our volunteers will be happy to return your call.
