Hi everyone…my name is Bailey and I’m a one-year-old girl. When I first met the wonderful people at Golden Rescue, I was a scared little girl…so I came to my foster home timidly with my tail between my legs. I latched onto my amazing foster mom almost immediately and followed her everywhere she went as I instinctively felt she would protect me. Pretty soon I discovered that everyone only wanted the best for me and I started to relax, although I never want to be far away from my foster mom. I think I am naturally a shy girl even though my confidence level has increased greatly. Pretty much everyone says I’m shy; however, I’m also calm, sweet, and faithful. I don’t know too many words yet but those words are all pretty nice ones, I think. I do still need a bit of housetraining but I am getting better at telling you when I have to go. I am learning your human ways quite well. I am not a big barker. You can touch me anywhere. I am gentle with my treats and you can leave me alone for a few hours but if you’re away too long I might get into some puppy mischief. I don’t love surprise loud noises but I don’t freak either. The doc says I’m a healthy girl. I am young so I don’t have a lot of life experiences to tell you about but here is what my lovely foster mom says about me: “Bailey is an amazingly sweet girl who can fit into a lot of families but the home needs to be somewhat quiet and calm. Bailey will follow her owners everywhere and she is just lovely in the car as she will just lay down. She is very good in an environment when the introduction is positive. She also really needs a backyard with grass so she can enjoy herself outside.” Thanks…and I agree that calmer is better and a big yes to a grassy backyard. I don’t think I’d like the hustle-bustle of downtown living. I am a small-town country girl at heart, I think. Might you have the right place for me…in your heart and on your grass?
