Hi everyone…my name is Luna and I’m a one-year-old girl. Everyone has been so kind to me since I met the good people at GR and my foster family has been particularly amazing. They are sure teaching me all your human ways. You see, I didn’t get much training in my previous life, so my fosters are schooling me a little bit every single day. I have already learned ‘sit’, ‘wait’ and ‘okay’ around food times, although this was pretty hard because I looooove my food so much. I am also learning the leash thing but that is certainly a work-in-progress. My foster mom says I’m a smart girl so in time I will learn all my commands but it is important that I continue my training once I join my forever family. In the meantime, I promise I am easy to be around. I try not to be a bother and I love humans so much I just want to please. My foster dad says I’m a very sweet, loving, grateful girl. I had a kidney infection and was recently spayed but the doc says I’m recovering well and they’re saying I’m a happy, healthy girl. You can touch me anywhere. Loud noises don’t bother me. You can leave me alone if you have to go out without me ~ mind you, my foster brother has always been with me during those times so we’re not 100% sure what I’d be like completely alone. I love other dogs and sure enjoy my play times with him, so if you have another playful furbaby, that would be awesome. I also love chasing my ball and playing tug-of-war. I have lots of energy but that’s to be expected since I’m still basically a pup…but I also love cuddling and being made a fuss over. I do have a high prey drive so I’m pretty sure cats would be a no-no. It would also be good to have a big, fenced backyard where I could run around and burn energy. Also, I’m a bit too inexperienced to realize running away could be dangerous, so a secure yard would keep me safe. Well, that’s the story of my young life. Brief, I know, but imagine all the stories I could tell once I have been a part of your family for a while ~ I just can’t wait…this is SO exciting!
