Hi everyone…my name is Jack and I’m 2.5 years old. I have been described by the doc and my fabulous foster mom as a sweet, gentle, loving giant. I have enclosed a pic of myself…what do you think? When I met the good people at Golden Rescue, I was a little nervous as everything and everybody was new to me, but now I love my rescuers and I am one grateful Golden. I don’t have many foibles and I am pretty well trained. The leash thing is a work-in-progress but I am improving. I have lots of energy and like getting at least two long walks a day which includes running and/or chasing a ball. I love snuggling as well so I can definitely adapt to your energy. I love people; however, sometimes I need a few minutes to get used to someone new. I like other dogs but can be too enthusiastic for some, so it might be best that I am the only dog in the family…at least for now. I am not cat tested so I’m not sure how I would react to a cat. I am not a big barker. I am gentle with my treats. You can certainly touch me anywhere. I don’t like loud noises but I don’t freak either. I can be left alone if you have to go out without me. The doc says I’m a healthy boy so no worries there. Well, that’s it for me. If you are looking for a happy, handsome, energetic boy, then I might just be the one. Hope to meet you soon!
