Hi everyone…my name is Koda and I’m 4 years old. When I first met the fantastic people at GR, I wasn’t very sociable. I was very wary of people and other dogs. I was a pretty big grumpy-pants. Now, I am SO much better. I like people, although I do need a minute or two to get to know you if we haven’t met before. I’m okay with some dogs, but most small dogs make me nervous or any dog that gives me a stink-eye needs to back down because I won’t. Lately, I have been walking past most dogs on my walks but my amazing guru foster dad believes I would be best as a backyard dog with minimal contact with other dogs. I also used to have guarding issues with my food and toys; however, I‘ve figured that out and don’t do it anymore. I am a medium-energy boy. I L-O-V-E playing fetch in the backyard and could do it for hours but I also love just chilling on the couch. I’m also a huge fan of car rides and can jump into the car easily. You can leave me alone if you have to go out without me. Loud noises don’t bother me and if I know you, you can touch me anywhere. The doc says I’m a big, healthy boy with the emphasis on ‘big’ (I’m just a touch over 100 lbs). I am very loving with my family, once I get to know you. If you give me a chance, I will show you just how loving I can be. And there’s really just one thing you need to know about me ~ I love being loved and petted!!!
