Hi everyone…my name is Willow and I’m a 1-year-old girl. When I first came to Golden Rescue, I was pretty high-strung and unsocialized. I had a LOT to learn. After all, I’m still basically a pup so I needed (and still need) ongoing training in your human ways, but worry not, I’m smart and I’ll catch on. I do need you to be a strong leader and to continue my training. I’ve already learned a lot and have even been described as sweet and friendly. Those are really nice words, right? I do still jump up when I get excited but that’s because I love meeting new people and find it hard to control my enthusiasm. I have lots of energy so if you are active, I might just be the girl for you. I love my walks and I also love playing in the backyard. There is no need to buy me expensive toys. Just give me a good old stick any time. They are my absolute favourites and I understand they’re also free. I am not a fan of dogs but I can be walked ~ I just get excited when I see them. I am gentle with my treats. You can touch me anywhere and you can leave me alone if you have to go out without me. Other than a droopy eye that just got fixed, the doc says I’m a healthy girl. My foster family describes me as a very sweet, loveable, happy girl. I think that’s pretty accurate. I am one happy puppy since I met the GR family. Thank you everyone!
