Happy New Year! My name is Efe. I am a 9-year-old boy and I’m the first Golden to be posted in 2025. Getting a family is going to be the greatest New Year’s gift of all. So, a little bit about me because, after all, this is all about ME! I had an operation on my eyelids a while ago and I have this thing called ‘dry eye’ but other than that, the doc says I’m a healthy boy. I’m still very playful and I like most dogs, although I do like my foster’s female better. I do have some toy guarding issues so it might be best that I’m the only pet in the family or I’m with an easy-going dog and I’m monitored. I love the great outdoors so a big fenced yard would be a real plus. I am gentle with my treats. You can certainly touch me anywhere…and please do it…OFTEN! You can leave me alone if you have to go out without me and loud noises don’t bother me. I love all humans and am basically a love bug. Here’s what my amazing foster parents say about me: “Efe is very loving and hilarious to watch. He loves to play and is well-behaved and quiet in the house. Efe is a big boy so he needs someone strong to walk him. Anyone who adopts him will be rewarded many times over with lots of laughs and lots of love.” Thanks for those kind words ~ I will do everything I can to live up to them.
