Hi everyone…my name is Bailey and I’m an 8-year-old female. When I first met the wonderful people at GR, I was pretty disheveled, overweight, and anxious and my nails were very long. Look at me now ~ wow! I’m all washed and brushed, nails clipped, nice and slim, and my anxiety is gone. I am one lucky girl as my foster family is simply amazing. They even have a beautiful cuddly cat that I spoon with. Life is grand. I have been paddle-boarding, swimming, hanging out in outdoor patio restaurants, visiting lovely seniors in a nursing home, and enjoying every minute that my new life has to offer. I love people, other dogs, and as I mentioned, I also love cats. I am gentle with my treats. You can touch me anywhere. Loud noises don’t bother me and the doc says I’m a healthy girl. I am not a big barker unless you leave me alone. This is not my best thing and I have to work on what you folks call ‘separation anxiety’. My foster mom is working on leaving me alone for short periods to get me used to it and she thinks with some patience and consistently, it will get better, but for now it is my only foible so it would be great if someone was home most of the time. I have lots of energy and love my walks, swimming, and playing fetch; however, I also love cuddling close to you wherever you are. I also aim to please and I believe that comes from a place of gratitude. Here is what my foster mom says about me: “Bailey is an adorable sweetheart with gorgeous eyelashes. She is ready for her new furever family”.

Might that be you?
