Steve #4758

Gender: male

Status: Adopted

Steve and I were meant to find each other! About two years ago, I signed up to transport Goldens to their foster families. I had a transport by the name of ‘Steve’ to pick up and I didn’t know if that was a person or a Golden…I thought Steve was an odd name for a dog. So, off I went time and naturally, Steve was a Golden. The moment I laid eyes on him, I knew I had to do everything in my power to adopt him. Six weeks after I filled in the adoption application, GR called me. I had been living all this time on pins and needles so I couldn’t believe my luck. I was asked if I was going to change his name and by then his name had given me a lot of chuckles…as has Steve in our time together. Now, five months later, he is inseparable with his Golden sister, Luna. He is terribly spoilt by his grandparents and he has become my best friend. Thank you, Golden Rescue, for bringing us together.
