It’s hard to believe that six months have passed since I found my new family, Ian and Nora. I was 58 pounds when I arrived ~ I am now 70 pounds. I was a reddish-brown colour…now I am as light as sand. I had no stockings on my legs nor plumage in my tail. Now I have both. I had never been exercised. Now I go on two or three long walks every day. I have completed my indoor and outdoor training and dad tells me (ad nauseam, I’m afraid) that I am the “best boy ever”. He might be right (ha-ha). I never saw water before, except in a bowl, and now I have gone swimming in both Lake Erie and Lake Huron. I am now spending more at the cottage and I love it there too. Thank you, Golden Rescue. I am a very contented boy. In fact, the only ones I know who might be even happier are Ian and Norah.
