Holy snow and hello! My name is Buddy and I’m just over a year old. Boy, I have to admit, I do take a good picture. I just saw this post and I think I’m one handsome dude. I know that sounds a bit conceited, but I don’t mean to be. It’s just that I have never seen a picture of me before. Now I understand why my lovely foster family makes such a fuss over me (heehee). Apart from my natural good looks, here’s a few things about my personality. I won’t start with the word ‘humble’ because I sure don’t sound humble, do I? I have been described as smart, affectionate, well-mannered, and wanting to please. Boy, I sound so good maybe I’ll adopt myself. I do have one foible (whew!) and that is separation anxiety. I don’t like being left alone and it’s pretty much the only time I bark. It is thought that in time and with patience, I might get over this as I become more secure in my surroundings but for now, I don’t like you leaving without me. My only other flaw is I am a bit squirrel obsessed. Now personally, I don’t think that’s a flaw because squirrels were born to be chased and I just happen to be the perfect boy for the job. Other than that, I am gentle with my treats. You can touch me anywhere. Loud noises don’t bother me. I’m not a big barker except when I’m left alone and the doc says I’m a healthy boy. I’m pretty good on the leash and I love all people and all dogs. Cats? No experience but they look a lot like squirrels so I’d say it’s a no-go. My foster mom says I’m a “super loveable Golden”. Hey, she forgot to say I’m handsome as well (heehee)!
