Hi, my name is Bailey and I’m a 3-year-old girl with lots of energy. I love to play fetch or play chase in the backyard and wow, can I ever run fast! I love fetch so much that I’ll even play it by myself if no one else is available. I know how to ‘throw’ my ring or ball and then chase it. I love going for walks too. I’m okay on the leash (I zigzag sometimes because I’m very curious) but I do pull pretty hard when I see other dogs. I’m just so excited to meet a new friend! My foster family is working on this with me. I want to play with every dog I meet. I want to play with cats too, but I give them space if they let me know they don’t want to play. I know some basic commands and you can trust me home alone. I don’t chew on things or counter-surf or anything like that. I usually want to be wherever the people in the house are and will follow you around hoping that you want to play. But if you’re doing boring things like working on a computer, I’ll lie down until you’re ready to play again. I’m not bothered by loud noises, I’m not a barker, and the vet says I’m very healthy. I’m not territorial about food or toys and I’ll let you pat me anywhere. I can get a bit excited sometimes, especially when people come home or if I think we’re going for a walk, so I’m probably better with a family with older kids since I might accidentally knock over a smaller kid. I definitely need an active household and would love one with a yard to play in. Here’s what my foster family has to say about me: “Bailey is an absolute sweetheart who loves to play and be active. She’s got a goofy golden personality and wants to be friends with everyone. She’ll make whoever adopts her very happy!”
