Hi everybody my name is Prince and I’m a 10-year-old boy. Yes, I am one of GR’s senior statesmen. When the good people at GR first brought me into their program, I was pretty skinny, unkempt, afraid of stairs, and barely housetrained. Don’t worry though…my amazing foster mom ‘fixed’ all those things ~ I’ve put on some weight, figured out house etiquette, and I’m all brushed and groomed. I do have some arthritis and hip dysplasia, which is not unusual for a boy my age, but I don’t limp and the doc isn’t too worried about it. I like my walks but I don’t need a lot of exercise as I do get tired. I love people and most other dogs. There are a few male dogs that I don’t like at times but generally I’m fine with dogs and even cats are okay with me. You can please touch me anywhere. Loud noises don’t bother me. I am not a big barker and you can leave me alone if you have to go out without me but my foster mom’s wish list is that someone is home more often than not so I have company since I really am a love bug. I love my humans and want to be as close as possible most of the time. I hope that’s okay and you’re not bothered by snoring…ha-ha. Here’s what my foster mom says about me: “Prince is an absolutely lovely boy who could bring a smile to anyone’s face. He is gentle, incredibly good natured, and has a zest for life.” Wow…high praise indeed and I cannot tell you how grateful I am for everything you’ve done for me.
