Hi everyone…my name is Sierra and I’m 6 years old. I must be famous as there’s a range of mountains named after me and aviators use my name to represent the letter ‘S’…and I’ve never even been in an airplane! How cool is that? I’ve not had a lot of experience in the human world, so you’ll need to be patient with me as I’m a bit of a nervous nelly. I am improving by the day as I spend more time with my amazing foster family. For example, I have never seen a TV before so they kind of scare me a bit. I haven’t had any experience playing with toys but I am starting to learn how to chew a bone or play with a kong. I am getting the hang of the leash thingy and I do love my walks and being outside. I love attention and you can certainly touch me anywhere. I don’t like being left alone now that I know what human company feels like so I’m looking for a family where someone is home more often than not. I’m great with all people and other dogs and even though I haven’t been cat tested, I suspect I’d be fine with them. The doc says I’m healthy and well behaved. Here’s what my foster mom says about me: ”Sierra is an old soul and she has a very calm, peaceful, loving personality. She would be great in an adult home with a quiet lifestyle.” Yes…I agree. I do love it when things are calm and quiet. Probably explains why I rarely bark…I don’t want to be disturbing the peace.
