Howdy everybody…my name is Waylon and I’m 5 years old. Like my namesake, Waylon Jennings, you might call me a cowboy outlaw. I used to be a bit of bad-a$$, especially when I was eating or guarding my toys; however, my amazing foster dad/guru has taught me that that’s a no-no. I now sit and wait to get my food. I now know the ‘drop it’ command. I also disliked other dogs but now I can pass them on the street without reacting. I still don’t like them but I can handle myself a lot better around them. On the other hand, I absolutely love people ~ I love their company and being petted and made a fuss over. I’m not a big barker and loud noises don’t bother me so that’s good, right? I’m pretty good on the leash now and you can leave me alone if you have to go out without me. The doc says I’m a healthy boy and my foster dad describes me as a “very sweet, friendly, happy, and affectionate boy.” So, I’m not a bad-a$$ anymore. Thank you for taking the time to find out who I really am and for all the support and training ~ I really appreciate it and I won’t let you down.
