Hi everybody…my name is Sasha and I’m two years old. Before I met the good people at GR, I lived in an apartment and my favourite place to be was in a closet. My previous family was kind to me but they didn’t give me any training so I am pretty naive in what you humans expect of me. My amazing foster family is showing me the ropes and I’m already learning the leash thing but I need a thing called a gentle leader. If you choose me to be a part of your family, you would need to be patient with me. Now the good news is I don’t have an aggressive bone in my body. Yes, I am shy with humans but I love to play with dogs. In fact, I love playing with cats as well so GR believes it is important that you have another dog and/or cat in the family to play with me and keep me company. I am gentle with my treats. You can touch me anywhere. I can be left alone if you have to go out without me and the doc says I’m a healthy girl. I just need a safe place to land where I can continue my training and get lots of love and attention. Here’s what my foster mom says about me: “Sasha is a sweet and gentle girl. She just needs time and love to come out of her shell. She will be a great addition to any family; however, the family has to have time to devote to and nurture her. It would also be important for Sasha to be in a quiet, calm environment as a loud busy family would likely scare her.” Yes, I am timid; however, I respond well to love and kindness. Hey, I’ve already made big strides by coming out of the closet (teehee).
