Hi everyone…my name is Huxley and I’m a 4-year-old boy. The good people at GR took me in and introduced me to my wonderful foster family where I’ve been living for a while. They have been so kind to me and have told me it is time for me to find my forever family. I guess that means I have done very well and I have to say I’m kind of proud of myself. I know all my commands and I’m even pretty good on the leash thing if you use a gentle leader. I don’t really have any foibles except I do go a little ‘cuckoo-bananas’ when the doorbell rings. It’s not because I’m afraid or aggressive…it’s because I get so excited meeting new people. Is that really a bad thing? I love all people and other dogs as I’m a very sociable boy (although we suspect cats would be a no-go). I am gentle with my treats. You can touch me anywhere. Loud noises don’t bother me, except for the doorbell (hee-hee). You can leave me alone if you have to go out without me and the doc says I might have the odd food allergy. Here’s how my foster dad describes me: “Huxley is a wonderful, intelligent boy. He loves being with his humans and follows instructions well. He will make any house a home”. Thanks for making your house my home for a while ~ I am so grateful.
