Hi everybody…my name is Tubbs and I’m a 1.5-year-old boy and still a puppy in many ways. Tubbs is a funny name for me. I’m not a big boy and I’m not overweight so I feel just a little insulted and embarrassed when my name is called. On the other hand, call me whatever you want…just don’t call me late for dinner (heehee). When I first met the good people at GR, I was very possessive of my prized possessions and I loved jumping up on people. My amazing foster guru dad has taught me both of those things aren’t good. So, I have now learned the ‘drop it’ command and I no longer jump up. Pretty good, eh? I also wasn’t too friendly with other dogs as I’m dominant, but I can pass them on my walks without getting grumpy. Another success, right? I’m described as loving and sweet…just a big love sponge. I do love people and getting lots of attention. In fact, I’m pretty good at nudging you when I want more lovin’. I have lots of energy so if you are an active family, I will fit right in. My ideal home would have no other pets because of my dominant nature and no small children. A fenced/secure yard would be ideal so I can run and play to my heart’s content. You can touch me anywhere and loud noises don’t bother me. I am gentle with my treats and you can leave me alone if you have to go out without me. I love life. I love car rides. I love playing and I’d love to meet you. My name is Tubbs…not Tubby, okay? Heehee!
