So, my foster dad got stopped for speeding. He told the police officer that since he has gotten older, there’s no question that 60 is the new 30. The officer told him, I don’t care what you ‘feel’ buster, 30 is the speed limit. So, that’s how I got the name Buster. Ha-ha! So, that was my comical opening…what do you think so far? So, I’m 1.5 years old. You can tell by my photo that I am a Golden mix…but still pretty cute, right? When I first came to GR, I was afraid of everything and the leash was a complete mystery to me. Now, I am much calmer and less afraid but I still need time to warm up to new people. Once I get to know you, however, I am a very affectionate boy. I am starting to get the hang of the leash but I still pull if I see another dog or a critter. I have lots of energy and love my exercise but I should be that way at my age. If not now, when? I don’t love other dogs ~ mostly, I just kind of ignore them so GR thinks this might improve with more socialization. You can touch me anywhere. Loud noises don’t bother me. You can leave me alone if you have to go out without me and the doc says I’m a healthy boy. I love the great outdoors and I love playing with sticks. Here’s what my wonderful foster dad says about me: “Buster is very sweet and loveable with his humans and is so soft and cuddly like a teddy bear. He has a happy and friendly nature”. That’s lovely to hear but, as you know, I think I’m also a comedian, so I’ll end with a joke: Do you know why you never see elephants hiding in trees? Because they’re really good at it! This is Buster, over and out…can’t wait to meet you.
